‘Caring for Health and Welfare of fish: A critical success factor for aquaculture’
The Federation of Veterinarians of Europe(FVE), in association with the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the support of the European Commission, is organising a conference under the title:
‘Caring for Health and Welfare of fish: A critical success factor for aquaculture

The conference aims at bringing together the different stakeholders in the field of aquaculture. The purpose of this event is to review the current situation in the EU and identify animal health and welfare issues that need to be addressed. Special attention will be given to the role of the veterinary profession in assuring these matters.
You may find here the draft programme for the Conference. This two-day event will start in the afternoon of Thursday, 16th May. At the end of the first day a cocktail reception will follow. The works will continue in the morning of Friday, 17th May and will close with a panel discussion early in the afternoon of the same day.
